Stuffed Mushrooms

I was recently at my cousins wedding where they had the best stuffed mushrooms. Of course I took that as a challenge to make something even better! These are the perfect appetizers for any meal.
Ingredients
1 dozen large crimini mushrooms
2 tbsp butter
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup grana padano cheese, shredded
1 tsp thyme
2 tsp dried parsley
1/4 cup bread crumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400°
Wash mushrooms and remove stems
Rough chop stems into small pieces.
Melt butter in a small frying pan and add mushroom stems
Cook stems till soft and liquid steamed off then add garlic.
Cook for approximately 1 minute then add bread crumbs, stir mixture until bread crumbs are browned, approximately 3 minutes.
Pour mixture into a small bowl and add cream cheese, grana padano, parsley and thyme.
Add salt and pepper to taste then mix everything until well combined.
Spoon mixture into mushroom caps, top with a Sprinkle of grana padano and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, finish with parsley on top. Enjoy!
