Home Made BBQ Pizza

Anyone that says money can't buy happiness obviously has never spent their money on pizza.

This pizza was a mix of mushroom, onion, Italian sausage and prosciutto.



Here's my pizza dough recipe, this makes roughly 3 12" thin crusts


Ingredients

2 cups warm water

1/4 tsp sugar

1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast

2 tablespoons olive oil

680 grams all purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt


1. Mix yeast, warm water and sugar together in a mixing bowl and let rest for 5 minutes.

2. When yeast becomes foamy add in salt and oil and mix with dough hook on low.

3. Increase speed to medium and add flour kneading with dough hook until you get a smooth elastic ball.

4. Let dough rest for 2 hours in a clean bowl.

5. Separate dough into 3 even balls and let rest for another 20 minutes

6. Spread out onto a pizza pan or stone, top with your favorite sauce, toppings and cheese then bake

7. Bring your bbq to 700° and cook for7 minutes or until done.

* Alternatively preheat oven to 450 then bake for 15 minutes turning halfway through
