Extra Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

Dry fried super crispy wings with Buffalo hot sauce.


So the trick to these wings is mixing baking powder in with your spices and using a baking tray with a rack to get them crispy all around.



Ingredients

20 wing pieces

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp granulated garlic

1 tbsp salt

1/2 tbsp black pepper

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes


Preheat oven to 250°

1. Mix spices and baking powder in a small bowl, in a larger bowl place thawed wing pieces and coat them with spice mixture. Use your hands to mix and make sure wings are evenly coated.


2. Place wings on the baking rack evenly spaced and bake for 30 min.


3. Without removing or flipping wings change oven temp to 425° and cook for a further 30-40 min depending on the size of your wings.


4. 30 min seems to be perfect for me to get super crispy but moist on the inside wings.
